   We all thought the menu needs a few extra sandwiches such as some type of chicken sandwich for picky eaters. All of us were fine but some of our friends wouldn’t love the dinner selections

   We very much enjoyed our dinner. I noted on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and the waiter wished her a happy birthday and brought a complimentary dessert. The food was delicious, and they had a wide variety of cuisine and drinks. The place had a very unique vibe.

   Food was just okay. Risotto overwhelmed the shrimp(which were good). Huli Huli chicken was unremarkable. Table was not comfortable and noise level made it difficult to hear each other. I have been to the Cage in Audubon and it was much better. Will give this another try, but this visit was disappointing.

    We heard great things about The Cage. When we arrive 4:45 for our 5:00 reservation we shared we were early for our reservation. We were told “I’ll seat you soon. “ The restaurant was quiet. We were eventually seated. I almost considered leaving - not a friendly place. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and the glasses were dirty. I advise anyone with GF should be careful. They really are confused about it even though they have a GF menu. I asked for a dry salad with seared tuna. The tuna arrived with a sauce- the menu just stated seared. The meal was served by someone different, the server took a while to check to see if everything was okay. I inquired about the sauce and the walnuts and she took a while to get back to me And shared some confusing response of the ingredients in the sauce in the tuna. She offered to get me something else. The manger offered to take care of the tuna. Which was a kind gesture. On a positive note, My husband had a great Korean burger. It was an uncomfortable experience.

    Michelle, we apologize for your experience and the miscommunication. We do serve GF dishes however, we are NOT a GF restaurant. All of our dishes do have the possibility of cross contamination.
