There were not a lot of options for my son who has an egg allergy but can consume “baked eggs”. We waited a few minutes until they switched over to lunch for him to have more than side options. I also did not have a lot of options as a vegan.

First off, beautiful restaurant. I have been coming to WDW for over 40 years and have done every restaurant. I was so excited to try this. The regular dinner food menu was not good for the prices especially. If you are going to spend this type of money on the Boardwalk, go to Flying Fish. It is far superior in quality and taste. We sat on the outer edge off the restaurant by the windows that were open on a chilly night. It's not ideal, but ok. That section was not as beautiful as the rest of the restaurant. If you are going to be sat there, ask for another table. (Or better yet don't go). Our server was nice and a bit distracted. No real complaints with her. The pomme frites app was over cooked. The fries were very dry. Aioli was good with it. French onion soup was the worst I've ever had. I got the chicken piccata. It was basically "shake and bake" with no sauce and naked noodles. With arugula and a lemon to squeeze. It was TERRIBLE. But the real reason we came was for the dessert so we let the meal part go since this isn't what they are known for. We got the Earl Chocolate Cake, it was ok. Not worth $22. The raspberry champagne cake was just ok. The chocolate silk pie was equivalent to bad store brand pudding. The snicker doodle cheesecake bar, that was actually the best and cheapest thing! My daughter got the cavatappi pasta and it was also not good. Just so you don't think I'm a hater, I have dined at the MOST expensive restaurants at WDW and have never wrote a bad review. I am what you would call a "foodie" and love to eat new things. This is a one and done for me. I would perhaps do the bakery side for a small dessert. If you are on the fence, don't do it. Opt for Flying Fish, if you are on the boardwalk. Other options price comparable around WDW that are better options include, Citricos, STK, Narcoosees, Topilinos, California Grille, Le Cellier. If you want to go higher then go to Monsieur Paul, or Victoria and Albert's.

The food is expensive but good. We were extremely disappointed with the way they handled a situation. The table they seated us at had an extremely sharp metal corner that was bent up and sticking out, my husband went to sit down at the table and the corner ripped his pants! We told the waiter who did nothing and then told a manager who didn’t really seem to care as well. I would have hoped they would have apologized and taken note so this doesn’t happen to someone else. Instead they did nothing and we left paying over $200 for a sandwich, salad and three pieces of cake, and on top of it $160 to replace the pair of pants that were ripped by the table.

Dinner was outstanding, everything was so delicious, the Chocolate cake was amazing too. Our waiter Aubrey was excellent, made sure we had everything we needed. Overall restaurant experience was just amazing, I would definitely come back again.
