Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Vegetables were cold, server was not experienced enough for that scale of restaurant. He forgot a soup and brought 2 desserts when we only ordered one. My fish has no taste being gluten free. Overall it was a bad experience.

    The table was placed right where everyone enters restaurant and wait staff leave the kitchen making it busy and more noisy. Not the best spot for a large table. The restaurant did provide a round table as requested. Further back in restaurant would have been better. Or half booth, table option. Good consistent food.

    We had a wonderful Day After Christmas dinner at the CG. It was a little less busy than usual, but the staff was wonderful and the food was excellent as usual. The restaurant is a little formal looking when you enter, but the feeling is warm and comfortable. Great place for a couple or a family - as in this case for us.

    Celebrated wedding anniversary at Capital Grille in Skokie. The evening was way beyond our expectations. The entire staff from greeters to bartender and servers was the finest. Friendly and efficient. Our server, Alex, did everything to make our evening special. Can't say enough about this incredible place.

    This one became my favorite restaurant on the North side. From appetizers to perfect ribeye steaks to excellent desert and coffee. And such great service every time we dine there. 5 Stars all the way.
