Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. The food was awesome as usual. My only disappointment is I’ve always loved Capital Grill French onion soup. It used to be in a large crock and the cheese was lime 1-2 “ thick. Last night, it came in a little cup and the cheese was just a little skim coating. Very disappointing. Otherwise awesome experience.

Service was impeccable. Food was wonderful, too. Started with calamari, then had chef recommended filet. Dessert was superb...cheesecake and chocolate torte.

Everything was delicious. Atmosphere was perfect with the exception of crying baby at the end of our meal, but we were on our way out so it wasn’t an issue for us. Lovely experience.

Great upbeat ambience…drinks, service, table bread basket…all top notch…but then we got to the food: tuna was terribly disappointing and should be revised or taken off the menu…a fresh fish steak should be grilled and lightly seasoned, not covered in brittle seeds and pan seared… what a travesty. Seafood risotto was very good but over salted. Caesar salad was best part of the meal but dressing also too salty… next time I go will order the tenderloin !

Perfect place for a date night or special occasion. Service and food were both outstanding. Our server, Jonathan, was extremely knowledgeable about both the drinks and food and provided excellent recommendations for both. He was attentive without being intrusive and contributed to a great experience. I would highly recommend both the restaurant and requesting Jonathan as your server.

First visit to a Capital Grill in a long time. First visit to the Raleigh location. Service was good, food was ok. For the price, I don't think it really compares with other steak houses in the area.
