   Had a lovely meal at the Cavern. Our table was in the window so we could watch people walking along Matthew Street. The staff were nice and attentive.

   Fabulous location, and a real buzz on Mathew Street, hence the choice. There was a great atmosphere, and the background music was superb. The menu had something for everyone in our party of eight, and the service was very good. However, the food was not the best. One meal (risotto) had to be sent back TWICE due to the food being lukewarm despite being in a hot bowl. One of the blind scouse dishes was lukewarm, and had to be returned. The bread with the scouse was very hard/stale and difficult to eat. Rather disappointing overall.

   Very much enjoyed our visit to the Cavern Restaurant. We were greeted in a friendly manner and although early, were shown to our table straight away. Drinks order was taken quickly and we were then given time to peruse the menu, but not too long that we were looking around to find someone to take our order. Starters were good, the garlic bread was delicious and my boyfriend enjoyed his soup (leek & potato) I chose Blind Scouse for my main - I’m not vegan but don’t like beef. It was delicious, and a huge portion! Chicken burger was my boyfriend’s choice and again it was big, he said it was very good tho. We were too full for dessert, maybe next time - we would definitely dine here again on a future visit to Liverpool!! All the staff we interacted with were warm and friendly, we were definitely made to feel welcome and it’s a restaurant I would recommend to others.

   We went here before when it hadn't been open that long. It was great then, and it was still great now. The food is really great! And I'm not easily satisfied when it comes to food. Staff is genuinely friendly and very helpfull. I can really recommend this place. Also if you want the full Cavern experience. Thank you The Carvern Restaurant. We'll be back!

   We had such a great time having dinner at The Cavern! The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!
