We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks.

Please note we are currently card-only and unable to accept cash.

Whether you're celebrating a milestone occasion or simply treating yourselves to an evening out, it's a great way to make your meal a little more special. Price includes one glass of crémant per person, served just after your party is seated. Drinks will be served after all guests are seated so that everyone can enjoy a toast together. If you are dining with a larger table and would prefer this to be served as each guest arrives, please let us know in the notes at the time of booking.

    Chef’s Table was brilliant from start to finish. The staff were brilliant and helped us choose wines to pair with our meals, perfectly. The lamb starter was the star- well balanced and beautiful. It was a perfect evening.

    The food was absolutely delicious and extremely well presented; the service outstanding. One of our party was vegetarian and she was very happy with the vegetarian and vegan menus. I couldn’t fault a thing.

    Went here for my birthday, and it was exceptional. From the service to the food. We had prawns, olives and cauliflower bites to start then the beef for main, best food around.
