Lunch Menu - Two Courses for £30 / Three Courses for £35

We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks.
Happy Hour is available in our lounge from 4-6pm on Thursday-Saturday with "Two for £15" Cocktails, wine and beer specials.

Please note we are currently card-only and unable to accept cash.

Price includes one glass of crémant per person, served just after your party is seated. Drinks will be served after all guests are seated so that everyone can enjoy a toast together. If you are dining with a larger table and would prefer this to be served as each guest arrives, please let us know in the notes at the time of booking.

    Lovely restaurant. It was a bit pricey but worth it as the food was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and there was a nice vibe to the place. A great place to go for a special occasion.

    What an amazing restaurant. Every item of food was cooked nd presented to perfection. The service was also excellent, just pitched at the right level. We will certainly be paying a return visit before too long

    This was our first visit to Chefs Table and from the warm welcome we received as we arrived it was clear we were going to have a really enjoyable evening. The food was fantastic ,very innovative and wonderful flavours and the decision on which dish to choose was very difficult as all sounded delicious !!! The service was superb with all the waiters fully engaged and very knowledgeable whether the food or wine . We will certainly be back as it was a memorable meal.

    What a great place. The food was delicious, the staff were lovely and we could honestly have stayed there all afternoon. We recommend Chefs Table to anyone who enjoys great food at a reasonable price.

    Overall the experience was good, however the main dish was terrible over salted! The snacking (pre-starter) sounded good in the menu but was disappointing. The starter was superb and wine was nice. Was our meal for two worth £166.. No.

    I had the pleasure of celebrating my wife's birthday at Chef Table on December 10th, 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, going above and beyond to ensure the evening was special. The ambience was intimate and elegant, perfect for such a special occasion. Every course of the tasting menu was a masterpiece — beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and perfectly paired with exquisite wines. The chef's creativity and attention to detail were evident in every bite. What truly stood out was the personal touch. They surprised my wife with a beautifully crafted birthday dessert, complete with a handwritten message. It’s clear that Chef Table is not just about food but about creating memorable experiences. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines impeccable service, world-class cuisine, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Chef Table is a must-visit.
