The Chequers Inn is a fine dining pub and restaurant situated in the heart of the village of Weston Turville, Buckinghamshire. The Chequers team pride themselves on excellent service and delicious food. Set in the quaint village of Weston Turville, The Chequers Inn dates back to the 16th Century. The bar retains a traditional feel, with broad polished flagstone floors, historic beams and an open fire place. The restaurant area is a more contemporary space in which to enjoy a fine dining experience. The Chequers Inn is home to husband and wife, Chef Owner Dritan and Maître d' Ranka. Since taking over in 2010 they have transformed the restaurant into a renowned and much loved eatery.

We forgot how lovely the whole experience, food, service and ambience is at The Chequers. We certainly will be returning on a regular basis and have been recommending The Chequers to all our friends.

We had an outstanding evening meal. The food quality and presentation were superb. The service was attentive and not intrusive. The overall experience was very positive. It was an evening to celebrate a birthday and The Chequers Inn proved to be a good choice.

The à la carte menu is limited, which is good. Much better to have fewer dishes prepared to a high standard than an extensive choice but with only average quality. The choices available were a bit unusual for us but this forced us in to choosing dishes we wouldn’t normally. We were glad this was the case as the dishes were delicious. It is a shame the restaurant, on a Friday, evening was relatively quiet. However even with only a few tables taken one could imagine it could be quite noisy when full.

Delicious food, comfortable and relaxed surroundings, wine list is not huge but has good variety and is well chosen. Friendly staff and proprietor. Will definitely be back

Amazing food, variety, price, setting and staff. Staff couldn’t of been more friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was so delicious we can’t wait to book again. Highly recommended 😊
