The Chop House Bistro delivers a charming dining experience in a beautifully restored setting. Guests rave about "delicious food" and "wonderful service." Standout dishes include scallops, ribeye, and a unique peach ketchup. The atmosphere is "relaxing," and the "friendly" staff ensures an enjoyable visit. Highly recommended for "special occasions" or spontaneous dining adventures.

Best restaurant in Luray hands down. Limited menu which provides enough choices. Everything is good. We went for dinner Thursday and Saturday night. Filet mignon was perfectly done medium rare. My wife's scallops were the best she has had in years. The cocktails were delicious and inventive. Restaurant is in a restored 2 1/2 story home with seating downstairs, upstairs, on the wrap around porch and in the back garden, John, our server, was excellent. He was attentive but not intrusive. Very easy to talk with. The service staff from the hostess to the server were excellent. The prices are the best we have had at a fine dining facility. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Wait staff very attentive and service very timely. We were not rushed at all. I ordered salmon on my salad for a $7 up charge. Piece was incredibly small and not worth the price. Salad was delicious.

It was a perfect date night spot. We were seated at a dainty 2 person table by a window with a view of the near by main street. Everything from our drinks, appetizer, steak dinner dish and dessert...everything was perfect and delicious. We are locals to the area, who will return. Great spot!
