There are a wide variety of restaurants in Ludlow, but Clive Arms stands out if you want traditional British food that makes the most of Ludlow’s local ingredients.

Our food is inspired by the seasonal produce of Shropshire and our surrounding counties. Many of our ingredients are handmade at Ludlow Farmshop. Our meat is reared in the fields surrounding us on the Earl of Plymouth’s Oakly Park Estate and is prepared by the award winning butchers at Ludlow Farmshop

Please note, we do add a 12.5% discretionary service charge onto the bill for groups of six or more.

Excellent starters, mains and desserts. Party of four:- all had the Sunday beef roast dinner. Probably the best roast beef any of us have ever had in a restaurant. It was cooked to perfection and exactly as requested Also so tender that you could cut it with your fork - quite exceptional and also very local.

Having dined here twice before many years ago, (which was disastrous) we heard good things, and decided to give it a try. Food was good. Not great, not bad. Good would be fair and accurate. Service was great, friendly and attentive. Place was busy, but food came out really quickly. Prices were really reasonable, so can’t complain. If I had to rate the place out of 10, I’d give it a 7.

Sherry is not everyones taste but Bristol Harvey cream is poor to undrikabke. Get yiurself some proper fino amontilado etc

Early supper for two in nice dining room with log burner, convivial atmosphere with polite and efficient (if inexperienced) staff. Prompt service and good food. Arriving by car in the dark, it was surprising that the signage and (attractive) facade weren’t lit but luckily the car behind us had fast reactions!

What a lovely and surprising find. We were shown to out table straight away. Food was beautiful and excellent value for money. Although there several diners it wasn't noisy. Service was prompt without being intrusive.
