Chef Larry Jayasekara has approached the project as a custodian, preserving and enhancing the 4-story building. Classically trained but undefined by any particular style, Larry offers a cuisine that, at its core, is all about the joy of eating. Given his 20 years of experience in fine dining, he has curated relationships with a select list of fishers and artisan producers to source the finest ingredients in Britain and overseas. With access to regenerative mixed farmland in Northamptonshire, The Cocochine kitchen enjoys fruit, vegetables, seasonal flowers and livestock, including game as well as native and rare-breed pigs direct from the farm. The menu features modern and refined dishes such as Tanera Island Poached Langoustine Leek, Morel, Lemongrass and 40-day Aged Rowler Estate Beef Fillet Maitake, Red Wine Jus.
Every element of the restaurant is considered, and the experience, from the outset and throughout, is about personal connection and old-school hospitality.

My husband and I had an amazing time yesterday at The Cocochine. The food was a perfect example of what you call fine cuisine. The service was excellent too. Highly recommend for romantic dinner or any other special occasion.

Food is superb, atmosphere is great, service is outstanding, what more can I expect? Cocochine is new, but I am sure this restaurant already has the best quality. I loved everything, specially the friendly and suggestful sommelier Masa Suzuki. His choice muched every menu I have ate. I am looking forward to visit again very soon!

Great food and service. The variety and quality of Amuse and also post dessert treats. As well as well as the freshly baked bread accompanying the meal were exceptional, as were the courses themselves. Very pleasant evening.

Went in anticipation of a great evening due to past reviews Fantastic amuse bouche, great starters, but cold, small and no seasoning mains! Nobody bothered to ask us about our mains and staff indigent when we finally spoke to someone 15minutes later. Shocking service. Declined deserts and left due to attitude of Maitre’d. Still changed full price (save desert) despite absolutely ruining our evening and even added service when we clearly had none despite querying the invocie. Paid and left. Amazingly expensive for small amount of food received and I can’t believe the reviews left here before as the evening was nothing like. Never been so insulted in a supposedly top restaurant. Avoid at all costs .
