We are a chef-owned restaurant that explores American and global flavors. Expect an awesome dinner of sharing plates, incredible cocktails, an award winning wine list and rockin' tunes! A mural wall by graffiti artist iSurge, lush tropical greenery and an herb garden helps set the mood on our outdoor patio. Recipients of consecutive Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence since opening for 10 years straight, and a DiRona Fine Dining Award recipient since 2016.
The menu changes slightly with every season, and the wine, sake, and beer list is always evolving and growing.
The Cook and The Cork does not want to be considered fine-dining, but we take food and drink seriously. Our goal is to have all our guests be a part of the fun, and to share the love we have for the restaurant, food, and staff. Private and large parties accommodated, please contact directly: info@thecookandcork.com or call 954-227-2665

The Cook and the Cork is an interesting establishment. The menu is decidedly chef driven. But the ambience is that of a cozy , eclectic neighborhood haunt. We adore the outdoor seating, which allows the diner to think they are in an island setting and forget they are steps away from a paved parking lot in a strip shopping center. We have had successful meals consisting of an assortment of appetizers and entrees. Last night included the crispy beef "cigars" with Thai chili dip appetizer, followed by the braised lamb shank. Both were unsurprisingly wonderful. Don't forget to cap off your evening with the Key Lime pie.

The food was very tasty but the portions were small to medium in size for the price. We were seated outside in a narrow pathway so there was a lot of foot traffic by our table which interrupted the discussions and the peacefulness of the meal. Our server, Chris, was very friendly and efficient.

Server was not entirely attentive sitting on the patio. Hard to get his attention to reasonably timely take our drink order, app order, dinner and dessert. Etc.

Scallion pancakes were exceptional. The pan-roasted branzino was perfectly seasoned with perfect texture and temperature, and maybe the best fish we’ve had at this restaurant. The butternut purée was delicious.

Comfortable, eclectic and warm ambience - such a great find for someone who wants to avoid BIG corporate chain restaurants. This place is well run and service is attentive. A great variety of small plates / tapas style with generous portions AND large entrees. You can tell how hard the staff works from the chef to the servers and great drinks too! There are daily special’s and seasonal dishes. I give the food a 4 ONLY bc I’m comparing it to the BEST restaurants which are more expensive. This is a great date place, or small groups. We will dine here more frequently for sure !

My experience at The Cook and Cork was such that I wrote this review within hours after my dining experience. I wished that I had taken pictures. I am a light eater, and organic, who loves seafood; good, quality seafood. We decided to get 4 starters and one entree, all to share. Starters requested to come out first were the mussels and octopus to be followed by the shrimp tempura and short ribs with the KFC, Korean Fried Chicken, lol. Our experience with the PEI mussels was incredible. Recommed you ask for the extra bread right away, don't wait. The sauce that the mussels come in is to die for; sop your bread in over and over, we want more. I don't know if my meal would have been the same if the food order was different, but the mussels were so good, you don't remember anything else. Finished with the vanilla creme brulee and expresso. All in all, this was a great dining experience. I will try it again with another group of friends and see. 😊 Overall, I highly recommend...

I found the restaurant to be very crowded on this Saturday night with the tables very close to one another. Could hardly carry on a private conversation. I also thought the crowded conditions lent itself to the restaurant appearing to have less than a desirable cleanliness appearance.. As such, I had to ask our waiter to clean our table 2x.. The service and quality of the food was very good. We had the PEI Mussels in white wine sauce , wedge salad with cheese, which were very good Our entrees were the short rib and the lamb shank..They were both excellent The vegetables namely roasted potatoes were average at best We were both satisfied with our meal and shared the brownie with vanilla ice cream for dessert.. My next visit will likely be on a weekday night to see if the environmental issues mentioned above become a non issue
