We don’t make just any food. We make smokehouse food. Our Smokehouse helps us deliver some of the finest BBQ and smoked food in East Anglia.

Owner and chef Mike Smith and his partner have teamed up to open one of the most exciting restaurants in Suffolk.

Our speciality is delicious smoked food created with passion and inspired by the fantastic flavours of the Deep South. We take great pride in delivering mouth watering meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes for food lovers all over East Anglia.

We are dog friendly in our back room of the restaurant and the garden

    Lovely independent restaurant. Food was amazing. Large portions. Good value for money. Only slight negative we sat my the door in the back room where smokers and staff go out the back. If it was freezing cold weather I would imagine that would be awful. I don’t think you should let customers use it as a smoking area

    Delicious food, we couldn't fault it. We sampled things from the blue cheese fritters to the hog plate specials as well as the smoked lentil burger. Everything was cooked beautifully with tasty seasoning. They were extremely accommodating when I called to add an additional person to our booking. The service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely return!

    Great food, friendly owners and staff. We were in lowestoft for a week and ate there 3 times. The Sunday was big and delicious

    Excellent meal, large serving sizes. Only complaint the side veggies with roast were just too creamy for my taste
