   Food and service was phenomenal! Went in for the happy hour in the evening, had 2 pizzas and the salmon, all was quick and was very tasty!

   Great atmosphere, great setting with a great vibe for couples, unfortunately had a pint that tasted of soap which was quickly changed free of charge, had the tomato pasta penne but was completely bland, zero flavour in the tomato sauce and no seasoning, disappointed and didn't want to complain again, staff were lovely, great value for money even tho food wasn't upto much, every place has bad night, would defo recommend

   Would recommend the ribs they melt off the bone exceptional, fair price specially on happy hour Newley renovated looking great more open and seemed lighter even though is mood lit so not to bright for dinning Could arrange seating better - 5 people had a booth for 4 with a chair added on end so was bit cramped when food came out on table Would recommend great food all round

   Started bad, ended bad, middle OK. 1st the mockocktails were disgusting. The mojito was just lime and soda with a mint leaf. So sour and I hate soda, it stated lemonade with sugar lime and mint, it was sour, definitely no sugar or lemonade. Tried a sex on the beach, it was watered down orange with watered down cranberry. Actually tasted like cordial not fresh juice. Not worth the price! The mains were good, well portioned, tasty and hot but my lamb was ment to come with some sort of beans, it came with broccoli so differed from the menu, not a problem for me but may have been for other people. My partner ordered the steak and a portion of onion rings which were not listed with the steak, the server then said the steak actually comes with onion rings so we took them off the order. Food arrived, no onion rings! We asked about the onion rings as he walked off and came back with a side plate of 2 onion rings. 2 singular rings 🤣. We should have kept the portion of onion rings!. The desserts are where the real flop came, partner ordered the brownie, it was a tiny square of brownie with strawberries all over it, no mention of strawberries on the menu, and they wernt in the side so he could just ignore them, they were cut up and juicy right on top making the brownie taste of strawberries. I had tiramisu, my fave, I don't normally have puddings but since I wasn't drinking and the cocktails were so bad I thought I'd treat myself, I was so dissapointed, it wasn't tiramisu but just layers of cake and cream with more cake and cream with chocolate powder on top, not worth the calories and plain cream isn't nice to me. I hunted for the coffee flavour dissected it and just found more plain cream and plain cake. I left it. The place was so busy and noisy I couldn't wait to get out. We paid, I briefly told the lady we paid the bad bits but the main was OK. Wouldn't go back for another special occasion.

   food was average, partner asked for mid rare steak and it was pretty much blue. very noisy atmosphere but as expected. over all was a nice place but personally wouldn't return

   My only issue was a glass supplied with our first round of drinks had lip stick on the rim This wasnt great as we had invited friends to the Cornerhouse for the first time

    The food and service is always excellent. The lunch time happy hour is very reasonably priced.
