Best afternoon tea I have ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. Wish they would have it year round.

A great experience: we have gone twice so far, and loved it both times. It is not cheap, but given all that they include, and all the work they put into it, it is certainly reasonable.

I attended with a friend, we had made a reservation. Upon arriving, we asked to be seated. We were told no tables were available. There was no one waiting to be seated and the dining room was empty. Finally they grasped the idea that we did have a reservation. Others walked in after us, without a reservation, they were immediately seated. The service was decent, the food was okay. One paltry food tray (3 level) for the 2 of us. The price was $45 each. A complete rip off!!!

The offerings were delicious, both delicate and filling. The price point seems appropriate for what's served (and how). You may already be feeling fancy after a tour of the house or gardens; if so, champagne, finger sandwiches, tiny tarts, scones, and tea will suit your mood perfectly.

Truly, we thought the cost would more appropriately be $25 each.
