Hidden away in the Bywater neighborhood, The Country Club offers an elegant escape from everyday living. Our beautiful restaurant and bar deliver exquisite food and drink in sophisticated surroundings. We offer chef-driven cuisine inspired by Italian-French and Creole-Southern heritages. Our incredible menus by Chef Chris Barbato, formerly of Commander’s Palace, has all the foodies talking. Our award-winning wine program features more than 140 bottles from 13 countries and its very own private label wines. You MUST be 21 or over to dine with us. Some outdoor seating is available. If you would like to request outdoor seating, please do so when you arrive. We book up for Drag Brunch six months out, HOWEVER, as people cancel reservations they immediately become available online, so be sure to check back often. For Parties over 20 people please contact us directly.

Excellent! Food was delicious,,we had Mac & cheese beignets and the shrimp pasta dish with red sauce! All exceptional! Service as great and the house was beautiful! We will definitely go back and spread the good news about a charming “off the beaten path” restaurant!

We went for NYE. It was a perfect balance before heading to the French Quarter. Staff was incredibly flexible letting us change our reservation several times. We would go back because the service and value and ambiance. Location is great for something outside of the French Quarter.

Even without the show, this would have still been a fantastic brunch. The menu had a lot of options and what we ordered was great. The drinks were delicious and strong, desserts were wonderful. The waitstaff were very attentive and pleasant. Beautiful venue, too. Top it all off with stellar performances from three different artists, each of whom came out three times, and that was a great way to spend a Sunday.

The Reveillon Dinner was the best experience of the Season. Some restaurants seem use the prix fixe menu as an opportunity to dumb-down their offerings. This was not the case at The Country Club. The menu was thoughtful, seasonal, well prepared and reflective of the fine kitchen for which this establishment is known. We had a lovely evening, with excellent wine advice from our main server. As an added bonus, the ambiance of this venue is not to be missed.
