   Our dinner experience was excellent. Staying here at the Bealey Hotel was the way to go. Staff were experienced and efficient and since the place was only about 80% full, it was timely service but very relaxed. Cocktails menu was limited but our two choices were good, the margarita and the old fashioned. We had the chicken main course and the lamb. Both were good and the lamb was outstanding. For a very isolated Hotel location, it was on point.

   Great restaurant (the only one) in Arthur's Pass. The views were spectular. The buffet (hot and cold) breakfast was great.

   Service was a little slow but the do warn you about it on the menu. We would have ordered dessert but got tired of waiting. View is spectacular. Location awesome.

   Limited menu but t kitchen will adjust to your needs, no problem. We got a large mixed green salad( nit on menu) and asked for no chicken/ bacon in pasta, no problem . I had lamb, very good. Very nice wait staff,

   Absolutely fabulous meal at the Crafty Moa tonight for our Anniversary Dinner. Meals were generous and delicious. Perfectly cooked. We had a wonderful evening ❤️

   We booked for my 77th birthday dinner on Saturday 7 Dec. at 6 pm. We arrived at Bealey Hotel only to find it closed due to the wildfire powercut. While we understand the fully valid reason for closure, we were very disappointed in the lack of communication as we were left without any option of celebrating the occasion or having a nice meal after a long walk along the Waimak River.
