After closing for 2 weeks for an interior refurb the pub now has a fresh and clean new look. The creation of a proper snug is part of the change and is available for private hire for small gatherings or family occasions. The rear barn has also undergone refurbishment and is now a wonderful room dating back to the 15th Century with oak beams and flagstone floor folding doors open out on to the rear courtyard and river Stour beyond. The barn forms part of the restaurant but can also be made available for small functions and parties of up to 20 - 25 people.

Had another great meal at the Crispin today with delicious food as always. My wife said her Nut Roast was the best she has had, and my homemade cheeseburger was very tasty. We sat by the lovely log fire and had a wonderful meal. You really can't go wrong here. The service is always excellent and the Crispin has a lovely cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

Popped in for lunch today and we will definitely be back! Service was excellent and the food was beautiful. The fire was roaring which gave a lovely cosy feel. I had the cheese burger and added bacon and my partner had the pork belly, when it arrived I had food envy and had to try some! It was delicious he also tried some of the burger too which was also delicious! We can’t wait to come back at the weekend already.

Had some much today at the crispin inn Lovely staff and the food was so yummy decent portion sizes the fire was amazing and super cozy!!!! And very kid friendly 1000%%% recommend

The setting was lovely staff all friendly , the only issue was the chicken on the roast was raw , the staff were notified and removed cost of these from the bill , Raw meat being served is a No No for any restaurant

The staff were very attentive and kind. We had a family meal ( including our Labrador) and the staff were friendly and down to earth. Really good food portions and good selection of drinks.
