Located in the historic town of Kenilworth in the heart of Warwickshire, The Cross is an award-winning pub that combines Michelin-starred food with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

Under the guidance of chef-director Adam Bennett, we have held a Michelin star for over nine years and are proud to boast three AA Rosettes. We received a Good Food Award Gold Seal in 2021.

The Cross is housed in a Grade II listed 19th-century inn and has been sympathetically restored to retain its heritage alongside contemporary touches that make it a fabulous place to enjoy great food, a casual atmosphere and informal but attentive service.

Our main dining room is a former school room that leads to a cosy and welcoming bar - previously a butcher's shop.

Another dining room overlooks the pass, where guests can glimpse the team of chefs busily at work.

We have a green and spacious pub garden, perfect for aperitifs, cocktails and post-dinner drinks.

    All the staff are well trained and attentive. Our lady sommelier was fantastic and an asset to the restaurant. She explained the various choices made on the wine flight to accompany the tasting menu with great knowledge, genuine interest, not a trace of pretentiousness and good humour. It really added to our enjoyment of the meal.

    Booked the tasting experience for my parents as a thank you and in the special request I mentioned that, the chef made a thank you pudding for them. The pair come back beaming saying they enjoyed everything and it was absolutely perfect. All the courses were beautiful

    Misunderstanding with booking, only al a carte and tasting available weekday. Not great service, although some outstanding non dairy options. Really noisy dining room.

    All staff at the Cross were exceptionally helpful in accommodating both small adjustments for food requirements and the modest anarchy caused by two of my younger guests. The food was excellent as always.
