    The food was delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The staff were very thoughtful, friendly and accommodating. It was a very enjoyable experience. We will defy do it again

    Not the Cub of old. Food was not cooked correctly. Crab claws were still thawing. One cook and one server.

    A little disappointed. Never had crab claws with Italian dressing on them. Potatoes were really good, asparagus was good, fried shrimp tasted like they had sugar in the breading and the steak was good, just not worth $48.00 to me. Bloody Mary was not good at all. Left probably 3/4 of the drink. Polite people just disappointed in the food/drinks. Obviously many people really like it, just not for me.

    The CUB has a vintage feel . We enjoyed the music while having drinks before dinner . The steaks were prepared to perfection. Dessert was Key Lime pie which comes directly from Key West. The pie was divine . Our whole evening was really enjoyable !

    Steak was perfectly cooked. Menu item-twice baked potato was not available. Salad dressings were innovative and very tasty. Bread was very good.....all in all a good evening....

    Have not been there since they reopened. Awesome experience for a Birthday Dinner. The new ownership/staff/chef offers the same great cuisine and service as ever before. Definitely will return again soon! Glad they are back!

    The Cub is the best value for a great steak in Shrevport/Bossier City. There are other places if your real interest is in seeing and being seen but no one consistently has food as good as what you get at The Cub. I have been dining here for more than 40 years, never had a bad meal or experience. The dining area has been upgraded, it is completely segregated from the bar area, noise is defintely not an issue here like it might be in some of our other privately owned local restaurants. You can spend more money, fight the crowd and the noise, have a few more menu selections at other places but The Cub has always been known for their steaks. Give it a try if you haven't been recently. You won't be disappointed.

    We heard this was a great place to get a good steak. However, we were very disappointed, the steak was tough and not well seasoned. They were also out of several items including some desserts, for the price I would go to one of the area steak places, skip the Cub.
