Our server was amazing. She was pleasant an extremely helpful. The table had a few Allergies and the Chef was so accommodating was overall a truly enjoyable experience and will definitely come back and tell all my friends to check it out

Couldn’t have asked any better for visiting with a former colleague that I hadn’t seen in 7 years. And having valet parking in downtown was a great surprise.

Our server was great and attentive, but the restaurant was not at all busy and it took over an hour to receive our order which was a salad and two chicken sandwiches. Will not be going back.

This was our first time back to the restaurant after the renovation at the now "Dan". The service was perfect and our meal was delicious. We had a dozen oysters and then enjoyed the short ribs, so good. Drinks are a bit pricey but my French 75 came in a lovely couple and was perfectly prepared. We will be back. Looking forward to the Sunday brunch soon.

We got together for a Sunday brunch to simply enjoy an afternoon together. We chose the DAN as the place to go for many reasons, one the atmosphere (have live jazz), the architecture of the hotel and the ambience of the restaurant. One negative thing of the experience was that AC has been broken for two weeks so that cut our visit shorter than expected but we managed to have few drinks. My bloody Mary was amazing. The garnish on top was bacon, cheese, olive, it was like an appetizer, lol. We will definitely go back. Valet parking is free for the restaurant, which is a nice added bonus.

The Dan has so much potential to be great, but unfortunately fell short. They say it’s a speak easy vibe but it’s extremely bright. Every light on, then lamps all over it was too much. It looks like a place to dress nicely too but 90% of the people that go in are extremely casual, shorts, sandals etc. The food was okay. Nothing exciting. Good to check it off the list, but won’t return.
