    We had a very pleasant evening here with our friends. They had recommended we go to the Derby and I am very pleased they did. The food was delicious, wine good and the lady that waited on our table was so helpful. Best of all the pub was lovely and warm. So many are not nowadays as they try to save money. It really was a good evening all round.

    Had lunch today with family i’m friends. First time of visiting this pub and the food was outstanding I had the fish pie. It was piping hot and a very good portion size struggled to eat it all . everything was well-made hot and tasted delicious . Couldn’t fault the food or the portion sizes staff are friendly and helpful.

    Another delicious meal beautifully served by delightful staff. I had chicken kebabs and they were perfectly cooked, lovely and crispy on the outside and beautifully tender inside. Can’t wait for our Christmas Day lunch!!

    Dinner with friends. Lovely food and service. Felt that we were cramped slightly next to the high chairs & open store cupboard. Not keen to see behind the scenes when out for an occasion.

    Great service and food. Restaurant was very busy due to the time of the year but the service was just a good as it usually is on quiet Sundays.
