   We arrived at 3:00 for our reservation. Most of the food was already emptied out. If you asked for a soda the value for a coke was $5 beers were $10. We paid $65 per person. For a plate of turkey, mash potatoes and cold green beans. I find this extremely disrespectful. To charge this much and not even offer a beverage. Also no kids options except what was being offered to the adults.

   We did the Thanksgiving experience which was a buffet of the traditional fixings and accompaniments to start and finish a holiday meal. The food was good. We really liked all the selections of salad, soups and deserts. A few things I hope they learn from to improve these events in the future…The reservation process on OpenTable was confusing and the hotel didn’t count the “add-on children” as seats at our table. That caused me stress when the confirmation kept coming over as 4 instead of 6 and I couldn’t get through to anyone on the phone in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. When we arrived, they had us as a party of 4 even though I paid for 6. The prime rib was cut too thick and they didn’t have steak knives so it was difficult to eat. The beverage service was lacking. No pitchers on the table, only alcohol available at the bar, otherwise had to ask for water, tea and soda, and continue to ask for refills. A simple pitcher of water on the table would have sufficed. The desert platters were not marked so every piece was a surprise - although all were delicious! The ambiance was a hotel ballroom. Our centerpiece was too tall to have conversations across the table so we ended up moving it. They attempted to play music a couple times but it was turned up too loud so it was turned off. Overall, we enjoyed our first Thanksgiving at a restaurant. The hotel lobby is beautiful.

   For $35 there were not a lot of food options. I think it's convenient for the bathrooms, but also, the bathroom line stays long. Will look for other St. Patrick's day breakfast places next year.

   Very convenient for St Patrick’s Day parade. Food quality a little disappointing for the $35 price but ok overall. Clean and well serviced buffet at a nice location

    The St. Patrick's Breakfast at the Desoto Hilton is a staple that we go to almost every year, we skipped last year because of changes that had been made, but they were returned this year. The food is good, although I like my scrambled eggs a little more done, and there was a good selection from which to choose. There was no problem finding a place to sit either. But the most outstanding thing was the servers. They were friendly and upbeat and on there toes. They were constantly moving around the room picking up dishes and clearing tables and all with a smile on their faces. The individuals preparing the food were also doing a great job, constantly checking the food service lines and they were prompt with bringing out hot fresh refills when the items ran low. I certainly hope that the "tip included" in the price was a substantial one because the servers and cooks deserved it. We did not try to valet park, as it was noted that it was included in the ticket price, so I can't speak to that aspect of it. But the return of the use of the wrist bands for entry to the 'facilities' until 2 p.m. was a great feature and certainly made us much happier to partake in the whole breakfast, and certainly increased the value of our purchase. Thanks so much for returning to the Breakfast that we knew.
