   Excellent experience and the staff was wonderfully kind - held our table despite some terrible circumstances. Excellent food and lovely ambiance as always. I highly recommend the Vanderbuilt!

   It is an elegant dining room with varied spaces, True old world charm and the food was delicious.. Our server was friendly and added to the joy of the evening. The cookies were delicious And the duck- perfect Loved the puréed potatoes also. A great choice for dinner in Newport

   Very hip hotel, restuarant and bar atmosphere. A bit noisy for those with hearing impairment, but wonderful moody/historic vibes otherwise. A small but well-curated menu with something for everyone and generous portions. We opted for various share plates and sides, tapas style, and were very pleased. Delicious meal and lovely cocktails. Our server Tiffany was also wonderfully adept with a great sense of humor. If I were local, this is definitely a spot I would frequent.

   An incredible dining experience at the Green Room at the Vanderbilt! We had such a wonderful time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a kind and attentive staff member who guided us to our table. Although the patio was closed for the day due to the weather, we enjoyed an impeccable view of Trinity Church. Our server, Cindy, introduced herself and made us feel very welcome. She was not only kind and professional but also very personable. After she offered us a selection of coffee or tea, we decided to order a bottle of sparkling wine along with a cheese platter. Cindy was outstanding, consistently ensuring that our wine glasses were refilled. This level of service is rare and highly valued. As locals and regulars, we truly appreciate how Vanderbilt shows hospitality and cares for its guests. Overall, we enjoyed a great snack accompanied by even better service! Great job, Cindy!    Great food and atmosphere. Poor service. It is not a big place, but we could not find our waitress for over 20 minutes when we wanted the check.

   The Vanderbilt Dining Room was such a memorable experience. The atmosphere is dark, moody, and elegant — it feels like stepping into an old money estate, with every detail adding to the charm. We started with a seafood tower of raw oysters, clams, and Old Bay cocktail shrimp, and every bite was so fresh and flavorful. We also split a classic Caesar salad, and then chose our main course from the specials: the steak frites, cooked perfectly medium rare. It was absolutely delicious. The whole evening had such a timeless, sophisticated vibe. I’m already looking forward to coming back!
