The Dining Rooms at Albion House Ramsgate boat stunning sea views and elegant, but relaxed atmosphere. Composed of the main restaurant with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the sea, and elegant Georgian rooms overlooking Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour.

Our food philosophy is to buy the best you can find and prepare dishes in a simple and uncomplicated way. Our menus change regularly and reflect the ingredients which our suppliers feel are the best on offer on the day you visit us.

    Excellent Sunday lunch, enjoyed starter main and dessert. Good choice at each course, not large but adequate, enabling the kitchen to manage demand. Particularly good vegetarian.

    All was exemplary, although somewhat spoilt by having to wait over 30 minutes for our food to arrive, even though my wife and I were pre-booked. Apparently, a large party had turned up and ordered before us. Nevertheless, all else was great, even the requested surprise birthday candle on my wife’s dessert!

    Our dining experience was disappointing. The service was poor from start to finish. Several items on the menu were not available we decided to just have soup. After placing our food order we waited for over 20 minutes and had to ask 3 times if our food was coming soon. We got the impression they had forgotten our order. When the soup finally arrived it was delicious but had no bread with it. When we asked about bread we were told that the waitress should have offered us bread as an extra! The coffee was served luke warm. Overall a very disappointing experience.

    Lots of staff not that many customers Although staff very nice need training to serve customers Huge wait time to order drinks, then food Starter good Main disappointing as two small slices of beef - no second check to make sure we were happy. By time someone did eventually cone it was to clear plates which had been there for 15 mins Too long to order drinks - if you are going to include service need to train staff that they have to deliver it as standard! By time bill came had lost will to say anything and just wanted to leave. Lovely venue so much potential but need to up the standard of food and service for the price point!

    Having been called a told there was no bar we bought our own wine Ordered with 5 mins but waited 45 before asking and was told it was a new kitchen team Roast arrived tepid was offered hot gravy Underwhelming at best and as a regular here very disappointed! Probably find somewhere else for my Sunday roast..,real shame as nobody seemed that bothered!
