For over three decades, The Drover has been the place to go in Omaha, Nebraska for a good steak. The rustic, vintage decor and dim lighting adds to the traditional steakhouse ambiance. Dinner was great, tender steaks and good sides. Only downside were the drinks. No cocktail menu (always like trying different martini's and drinks at new restaurants, but they didn't have any) and drinks were a little pricey with no happy hour offered.

Overpriced. Steak over cooked and not tender. Mushrooms were amazing. Atmosphere very nice. Not very attentive service, but friendly. Bathroom toilet broken.

We enjoyed a romantic Valentine dinner. The special appetizer bacon wrapped shrimp was so tasty. We both ordered a whiskey filet. It was cooked to perfection and so tender. My favorite on the menu!! The two servers were very attentive and were at our table just the perfect amount of time.

Been there many times and very disappointed this time. We ordered the ribeye and it was about the same size of a steak I’d see at a ponderosa.

I would definitly go back, receiving our food was a little long, great atmosphere, and a little pricey. I had the special, a 12oz bone in filet and it melted in your mouth. My wife had the jumbo shrimp, they were huge and very good. My daughter had the whiskey prime rib and it was also great. We all had the baked potatoe, large with all the toppings. We all had the salad bar, nothing out of the ordinary on it, pretty typical, the lettuce was some of the cleanest I have ever had. I think for the price the salad bar needs more on it or salads need to be serve at the table. None of this would stop me from going back for a special evening out. I can't say much for the wine or alcohol collection as we don't drink much. I do remember someone behind us saying the house wiskey was great and there were a lot of tables with a wine bottle on them.
