The service was friendly and the food was good quality, though not cheap. The only disappointment was that with the lemon sole off, battered cod and chips was the only fish on the menu, which was a bit limiting.

A lovely venue for Mother's Day lunch. The food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The daffodils given to the female diners was a very nice touch. I thoroughly recommend The Duke William.

Food was ok, menu doesn’t change much. Wine very expensive SB £15 a large glass. It was busy nice to see but the low ceilings and a noisy birthday meal near us made conversation difficult. Nice pub though and in the summer the garden is lovely.
