We live the Earle…the place is an experience and wine delicious….but the food need to be revamped. The dinners were heavy with cream and butter. I would like to see the menu get an update

Consistently amazing food. Classics made Very well. Service is always pleasant and professional. It is exciting the see staff who remain through so many years. A great local hotspot that has the most cozy atmosphere, excellent wine and the live piano definitely sets the mood.

Festive winter evenings are always a treat at the Earle. The atmosphere is cozy, intimate and celebratory. The service was excellent. The food last night was extremely good. We were four people, each ordering something different and we all had an outstanding experience. I had the duck which was moist and perfectly prepared with excellent sides--my husband had the lamb chops. Dining out for him is often complicated because he is dairy free. No problem--excellent food, no necessary substitutions. The two different salmon preparations were also very good. Highly recommend the Earle for a special occasion

Best tenderloin with pepper I've ever tasted!. The Earle is now my preferred place for steak in Ann Arbor. We also had terrific duck, escargot, and roasted garlic. All very well prepared and presented. Our server was delightful. At our request we were seated in a corner in the quieter part-of the place. Then a party of 8 was seated next to us... No longer so quiet. But the food and service more than made up for w.

The Earle is down to earth elegance. The food was outstanding. The menu had old favorites and delicious, intriguing dishes - something for everyone. In the middle of the dining room the floor was lower, and filled with close but not cramped tables. Slightly above and around the sides of the room were more tables. Despite being quite full, this design gives the room an open yet intimate feel. The ambience is further enhanced by the fact that conversations are possible without shouting over piped in music or the din of other diners shouting to be heard. We were celebrating our anniversary and were gifted with a small gift certificate for a future visit, which was unexpected but a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

The food is always worth the visit. The service last night was unusually slow and inefficient. Although we enjoyed the evening, we felt mostly ignored by our server and our entrees were lukewarm when served.

We enjoyed dining at the Earle - the food tasted great, as usual, and we enjoyed the special seasonal cocktails. As always, service was impeccable. The Earle is one of Ann Arbor’s favorites - with very good reason!
