This restaurant could be great if it fixed a few issues that take away from the wonderful entertainment and overall ambience. First, the food was all very delicious. Highly recommend the Edison burger and grilled cheese with tomato soup. We also loved the bacon and pickles. The cocktails were also well done. We sampled the absinthe flight and it was a fun experience.
Now for the bad, it was obvious this place is understaffed. It took quite a long time to be seated after being called for our reservation. We waited quite a long time before a server came to the table. Once she came to the table she was lovely but it was clear she was serving a lot of tables by the amount of time it would take her to get back to us to take drink orders, appetizers, ECT. We ordered the absinthe flight and waited forever because they only have one water brouilleur. To be fair, I don't believe it's a popular item to order and Disney springs is very busy. So all could be forgiven.
What can't be forgiven was the seating that has a large brick wall which obstructs the view of entertainment. They had a small TV behind our table we could turn around to watch which was uncomfortable. Why wouldn't more TVs not be put up so we could all see the performance?!! Additionally, it's so loud you can barely hear the performers. I made reservations for my father's birthday with the intention of dinner and live music and paid to stare at a wall and hear the conversation next to us. I asked the hostess if we could move to a different table for our occasion and was told no. The whole point of coming here is for the cocktails and entertainment. We were dissatisfied with this.
