Service wasn't bad, just slow. Our server was great though. Even though the kitchen helped with my allergy, the food was not good. It was definitely not worth over $70 worth of food for high tea for two people and a child. The sandwiches they made for me were sloppily made, the server even asked if I wanted them remade. I told her no. I waited a long time to get them to begin with. Finger sandwiches don't take long to make and there was barely anything on them. Our scones were dry and undercooked. That was waiting forever to get them. We were finished eating and asked for them and were told they were baking a new batch. They were uneatable. We gave up and left without taking the leftover food home. I guess we'll have to try the new tea room in Mandeville as this was not worth the money and I left hungry.

I think it was just an off day for the staff. We’ve been several times but Easter maybe not their thing. Our server forgot all the basics like napkins, the sugar came out mostly empty, forgot the cream and then broughy a very tiny one for the entire table. It was as a bit of a chore having to constantly ask for things. The scones were different but still wonderful, loved the lavender vanilla. Not a fan of the “ham” sandwiches for the little Easter tea. It was inedible: chopped ham and tart cream cheese. The texture and flavor was all wrong and The kids hated them. Plain ham would have sufficed. I wish we could have traded out the tea sandwiches and the server.

Nicole and I had the most wonderful experience at the tea room and we will definitely be back. I thank Nana, Megan and Zoe for the gift cards so that I was able to come and try this place out. I cannot believe it was so amazing and quaint.. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone ! the food was amazing and delicious. We even got visited by Nana and enjoyed every minute. There’s just not enough words it was superb. Our server Mandy was amazing. She took care of us and was very attentive.

Been here 4-5 times with good experiences. This time, our food came without the scone which we had to ask for. When the scones came, they were undercooked ( warm, overly moist and crumbling) as if they pulled them out of the oven too soon to get them out to the tables. Others around us did not receive their scones at all.

The high teas are pricier than what you get speaks for, but everything is delicious and overall a great experience. The scotch egg was very dry. The vanilla scones were amazing. I recommend the blueberry bang tea and the chocolate chai tea! I loved that I could bring my dog with me. We sat outside and it was wonderful!

We had the best time! We took our Mom for her birthday and everything was wonderful, from the tea, to the food, to the atmosphere...literally everything. I'm pretty sure we were planning our next trip before we ever left!

We absolutely love the English Tea Room as a fun lunch date! It's one of our favorite spots in Covington, especially as Anglophiles.
