Led by a team of lifelong Chicago restaurant figures, The Evie is a locally-owned upscale dining destination located at the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Led by Partner George Archos (Wildberry Café), Chef-Partner Nick Nitti (Forno Rosso, Lucia Rose, Cucina 3 Italian), and Executive Chef Phil Rubino (Spiaggia, L2O, Cicchetti), the restaurant provides city locals and visitors a place to unwind and indulge while overlooking iconic Michigan Avenue. Named after George’s mother and daughter, the concept puts family at the forefront, with an emphasis on warm, Midwestern hospitality.

Evie offers full lunch/dinner and weekend brunch, presenting a menu of reimagined American classics and city favorites, spotlighting dishes like chef-crafted sushi rolls, freshly baked breads, Chicago-style Wagyu hotdogs, and USDA prime steaks.     I didn't arrive at my hotel until 8p due to a delayed flight. Most restaurants booked their last seating at 9p even if closing at 10p. The Evie closes at 10p but will let you book a 9:45p reservation. Fantastic! This allowed me an opportunity to freshen up and then head over. The service, food, and ambiance are rated 5 stars across the board. I always enjoy my time at The Evie!

    From the moment we walked in and were immediately seated at the requested window table until we departed more than 2 hours later, our experience was impeccable. The staff was accommodating and let two friends catch up on our goings on. I highly recommend the glazed salmon and smoked carrots.

    I enjoy the Evie. I like the Sushi rolls and I love sitting at the tables facing Michigan Ave. But booths are comfotable too, especially for lunch. Staff is customer centric and diverse.

    Ambience and food were great. Our server was a bit lacking. Not bringing plates for sushi or bring clean utensil. He could have been more attentive.
