We arrived late due to confusion with finding inn on sat nav a bit confusing as it took us to the rear of venue. staff could not have been more helpful and gave us a very enjoyable night will definitely eat there again

It was a shame that the battered scampi was in bread crumbs, a dissapointment, but still good, just a shame.

Simple style. Steak tasty. Beer wine selection fair. Lots of locals bar hanging doesnt set comfortable first impression,as we had to wait 2 deep and ask them to move aside politely of course. Second visit first time not as bad. Service solw had to ask waitress to take our order, she was chatting to her friends on the next table. Overall the food was ok.

Visited for the first time in nearly 50 years. Really lovely friendly owners. Friendly service. Have about 5 very reasonably priced meals at lunchtime. All freshly cooked. Could not fault it. Will be returning.
