   Skip downtown, eat here. This is by FAR a better restaurant for variety, quality, decadence and service. Walk, drive, skijor here, whatever, just get here. Downtown is good, but don't overlook this hotel restaurants. ALSO, keep your eyes open for the upcoming KENRICK HOTEL opening in spring 2025.

   Liked the food and feel of this place. Great service that would make us come back. Loved the Elk Meatballs and Venison Tartare appetizers. Pastas were good too. Pannacotta recommendation from our waiter was a hit. One of the best ever!

   Sad to have missed the venison carpaccio but we had the elk meatballs and bison targatelle and gnocchi.

   Great food, with a decent selection. Items are smaller plates but can still be individual meals. Great location with good staff. And will be returning!

   From the food to the service, the experience was phenomenal! The service was attentive without being overbearing, the food runners were friendly with good banter, and the food was exceptional! We had a great time here and will definitely be back.

   An amazing brunch there we had the gnocchi and bison hash and they were both delicious. Jaden our server was very attentive and the overall ambiance was spectacular.

   A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Our waiter was very polite, friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, we had oysters and prosecco and olives and pecorino to start…wonderful! Then elk meatballs in a tomato sauce with spaghetti and bison bolognaise with tagliatelle which was out of this world, so delicious I asked for some bread to wipe my bowl clean lol. Then a delicious panda cotta to finish. The cocktails were great too. I would highly recommend a meal here, you won’t be disappointed. A great ambience in a great restaurant.

   Awesome from the moment we walked in. The staff was really personable and very knowledgeable, our server Mathew was awesome. The food was executed perfectly, full of flavor and beautifully presented.

    The food was fantastic, mostly ordering off their main dinner menu but also having a dish off their New Years Eve special. Our server, Pete, absolutely made our night! He was knowledgeable, attentive and brought a lot of fun to our table! This is my third time at Fat Ox but first time having dinner and I cannot wait to go back! So happy they opened this in our town!
