   I took my parents here for lunch. We received a very friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble, even accommodating an iced latte request even when it wasn’t on the menu. The food is excellent and very flavoursome. Best lunch I have had in a long time. Highly recommended and will be delighted to come back next time I am in Broughty Ferry. A wonderful experience.

   Had a wonderful afternoon with friends at the Ferry Selkie. Food and cocktails were amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was jolly and busy, which speaks volumes of the quality and popularity. The small thing I would say was that it felt quite cramped. Which was only noticeable when coming in, and had to navigate my way to bar to confirm our reservation. Once sitting at our table it felt fine.

   It’s a very cosy restaurant, you could spend all they there, the atmosphere is so lovely. But the food is overpriced for what you get, your are essentially paying for a meal but what comes is a very small portion - it was enough for me as I have a small appetite but for a man he would go home hungry after spending £15. To leave there with a belly full you would have to spend about £20/£25 and that’s not even including the drinks.

   Lovely relaxed lunch with friends. The food was delicious and the waiting staff were attentive without being obtrusive. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

   Lovely restaurant, relaxed atmosphere & our food was excellent. There was an excellent, varied menu & the small plates were perfect to share 4/5 between 2 people.

   On arrival at 19:30 we were told how many choices on the menu they had run out of which left hardly anything to choose from, so we left and went to the Indos Indian restaurant and had a fabulous curry instead.

    Great brunch, tasty shashuka eggs and eggs benedict. Service was spot on. No complaints. Even got a message to say I’d left my sunglasses behind. Will be back again next week
