The Firehouse is any amazing original fire station building full of quaint, cosy and and crannies for dining in. Food was amazingly good - beautiful duck breast, and wonderful brussels sprouts and mashed potato. The flavour was out of this world. The only negative - the meals were quite tiny. Main, one side of veges, a non-alcoholic drink, no entre or dessert, one cup of tea - came to $50, which was probably a bit much. However the food and ambience were so nice I'd definitely go back.

Great food, good friendly service, reasonable range of drink options, and a happy vibe. Well enjoyed and will be back. Lot of options covering food intolerances was also appreciated.

The menu is very small, almost bistro style but the price was more in keeping with a higher end restaurant. Big wine list. The room has a very high ceiling and is not warm. Most people kept their jackets on.

This is the third time my wife and I have enjoyed our birthday celebration dinner at The Firehouse. It is our first choice for a special occasion as the food is something very special and the service first class. We love how there are different rooms, each with it's own ambiance where tables and seating are well spaced apart so you don't feel cluttered. On a cold night, it was warm and toasty and a special was mulled wine, which was beautifully warm and fragrant.

So I asked for a GF FF and LF meal and they must have gotten it wrong cause my tummy has been in pain and the toilet destroyed multiple times. the wait on the meal was also over an hour. Very different from the first time I came. But it was delicious even though I'm now paying the price. I love the environment

I liked being seated in the main area and not in one of the side rooms. The velvet chairs were very comfortable and were a highlight. I hate hard wooden chairs to have dinner on. Waiters were all very friendly. The food was lovely.
