Located in the JW Marriott Chicago, in the city’s bustling Loop Financial district, The Florentine offers an elegant yet accessible interpretation of seasonal Italian cuisine.

Characterized by simplicity and paramount ingredients, the menu showcases top imported Italian pastas, cheeses, salts and meats as well as ingredients from local farms.

The Florentine offers semi-private and private dining spaces, accommodating anywhere from an intimate dinner for six, to a cocktail reception for 130. Our large private dining room can seat 60, or be divided into two smaller rooms holding 20-30 guests. Semi-private dining for large groups is also available.

    First of all we went for the happy hour menu that was promoted on open table to find out that the menu had just changed and they are no longer offering the same items. The happy hour menu is now just a variety of meat and cheese offerings and select drinks. Prior to this the menu offerings were pizza, meatballs sliders, salad, etc. If we would have known this ahead of time we most likely would have gone somewhere else with a more extensive happy hour. Overall a very confusing experience. We were celebrating a birthday which was only acknowledged by the host but nothing additional after that. We had pizza which was $8 on the original happy hour menu and now $22 once we had asked if pizza was an option to order after we had received a very limited dinner menu. 3 menus later we finally figured it out….
