   Really good food in a lovely cosy and historic venue, will definitely be visiting again. I had haggis, I’ve been to Scotland many times and eaten it there but this one is definitely better. My wife had steak and ale pie which was the best, meatiest pie she’d ever had.

   Amazing food. Had the homemade wild garlic chicken Kiev and beef chilli. I was blown away by the Kiev. It's my fave comfort food but this was next level incredible. Beautifully cooked. Fresh ingredients, lovely salads, mango aolio yum yum. Brilliant staff so friendly with my 3yrd son. Cheers team.

   Good first impression, as decorated for Christmas. Service was good, as was the menu. We had an enjoyable night.

   Excellent food and plenty of it! Delicious, ample portions. I can thoroughly recommend the traditional Christmas menu. The Fountain Inn was very welcoming and festive, beautifully decorated. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Will definitely be returning in the future.

   What a fabulous Sunday Roast my family and I had this afternoon. The food was delicious, the atmosphere cosy and festive and the hosts couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcomed. All the tables were full and it was busy, but the team were professional and ran service with a smile on their face.

   Nice pub, good beer. Friendly efficient staff. Food was a bit mixed. Pies were small, had and had little chicken. lasagne was more like cottage pie with pasta topping Burger good.

    As always superb Sunday roasts - everyone was delighted with their food. Service impeccable to, as usual. Hosts Lindsay and Alex create the warmth and essence of a beautiful, traditional country pub.
