   Food could not be faulted. Also liked the “tapas” style arrangement so we could all try everything. Also nice to have some unusual drinks on the menu such as picón biere. Service was excellent - would certainly recommend.

   From the warmest of welcomes, super wine list and fabulous food, this is still our firm favourite. Hosting our friends from London this weekend, French Quarter was the only restaurant that was an absolute must, with very good reason. Thoroughly recommended, always a big hit

   Always a pleasure to visit The French Quarter. This busy restaurant has a comfortable ambience and the staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. The food is delicious and the menu, which has many perennial favourites also has enough seasonal variation to reward return visits. The wines list is extensive and reasonably priced. If you are unsure of what to choose I can always heartily recommend the “Vin du Moment” suggestion. I have gone for this during my last 3 visits and every one has been an interesting and delicious wine I probably would never have discovered on my own. For quality French Brasserie food there is no better than The French Quarter.

   Had a fabulous meal last night with a couple of clients who were new to Newcastle last night. I hadn't visited for a while but the food was exquisite, the service friendly and efficient and a wonderful evening had by all. They were left with a really great impression of the restaurant and td to see it was a family owned business. Will definitely be back soon!
