The French Quarter is a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant & wine Bar in a community of unique and quirky businesses in Newcastle city Centre. We are a friendly and approachable team of people, with a passion for the good things in life. Born from nostalgia for a traditional style of commerce and a desire to challenge perceptions that French dining is formal or fussy, we work with independent suppliers to offer a regularly changing wine list & tapas style menu. We have created a casual and sociable environment where customers are invited to experience our food, try our wines, shop from our deli and share our love of all things French!

    Had a fabulous meal last night with a couple of clients who were new to Newcastle last night. I hadn't visited for a while but the food was exquisite, the service friendly and efficient and a wonderful evening had by all. They were left with a really great impression of the restaurant and td to see it was a family owned business. Will definitely be back soon!

    Great choice of French style dishes using local and French products. Quality excellent Service was attentive and friendly. The smaller plates menu is a good way to sample different types of starters and mains. Small Wine flights are a neat option.

    A restaurant I visit frequently, another wonderful experience. Ambience buzzy and friendly. Food excellent and staff warm efficient and welcoming. I will be back soon .

    2nd visit as live in Edinburgh, family is still in Newcastle, there with my lovely mum after theatre, amazing service and food, highly recommended
