   Visited with family and grand children. Sunday roast was very good although portions size not large. Separate menu for the children. Staff were very attentive.

   We were greeted by friendly lady and enjoyed a faultless lunch with great tasty food. The dogs were welcomed too and thank you again for their little treats. We will certainly return. Although the wood burning fire looked inviting it was too sunny to not enjoy the garden. Everywhere was clean and tidy.

   All the staff were ace. So polite, cheerful and very attentive. The service/food was prompt but not so as to make us feel rushed. The food was very enjoyable and a real treat. We were in the Hall which is a large space to heat with a high ceiling. They had the log burning alight when we were taken to our table the member of staff brought an electric heater through as well. Lovely to see that they think of everything. It was getting very busy by the time we left which is always a sign of a 5 Star experience. Would just say it was beginning to get a little loud but not rowdy. It was just a lot of people and high ceiling which always amplifies any sound. The room is beautiful and full of charm though and made our meal special.

   Lovely place - the big dining room is stunning, staff are charming and attentive, food is delicious and well presented. Highly recommended.

    Lovely friendly welcome. Cheerful helpful servers. Food good value and tasty. Warm room and clean facilities. A good choice for a family lunch. Thankyou very much.
