We are one of the finest Mediterranean restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Open for special events, you will find delicious authentic Lebanese food prepared fresh! We offer vegetarian and vegan entrées and mezza appetizers, along with variety of kebab and seafood platers. The Gate also offer full catering menu options for corporate luncheons, events and all special occasions.
Come by on a Friday or Saturday evening and experience live music and belly dancing! We have a fully stocked bar.

The Gate is always a wonderful night out experi nice. Great food, hookah, and drinks. The portions are very nice and definitely tasty. Live singer and DJ were very entertaining as well!!

Amazing food, terrific and super friendly service. Pro-tip: Fridays and Saturdays the place features professional entertainment from headliners from the Middle East. The show starts at 9p, so nobody —and I mean NOBODY— shows up before 830p those evenings. Except us. Naively, we went there Saturday evening a bit after 730p. We were literally the first and only patrons in this cavernous venue. The place is large and not intimate. We initially thought the restaurant —which looks and occasionally operates as a dining hall— was booked for a private event later the evening. Wrong. The staff kindly humored us and prepared a feast. Around 830, folks started to appear. We had other commitments so unfortunately we had to leave before the entertainment started. We’ll be back another weekend evening. At 9.

When we arrived, no one was in the restaurant except the owner sitting in the back! He said he didn’t have any record of this reservation in his system, and that we should’ve called him before we came, and that they didn’t even serve until dinner time!!! I showed him the confirmation on my phone, made for 1:15 pm, yet he said he didn’t have it in his iPad, so we left. When you make a reservation and get a confirmation, you don’t call a restaurant again before you leave your house to make sure they got you down!! This guy was a total idiot! I would’ve given him a zero out of five if that option was available!

We had a great time at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent. The entertainment was a lot of fun. We didn’t like where we were sitting initially. We told the waiter and it was no problem moving us to another table.

We wanted some Mediterranean food and I remembered noticing a place near where I live. The Gate was great. Why? Because it is run by Lebanese people. Of all the Med food I have had, both here and abroad, I have found the Lebanese cooking is the best. They had all the usual items you would expect from kebobs to hummus to stuffed grape leaves. But the Lebanese are brilliant in their use of seasonings. Also, the prices are low, the place is classy and the service was perfect. We will return.
