   Had an awesome dinner at The Goat. We went to take advantage of the special menu offered during Jersey Shore Restaurant week. The food and the service provided by our server Connor were superb! I highly recommend this restaurant.

   We wanted to try this restaurant for a while, and it was worth the wait. The appetizers of clothesline bacon and fried calamari & rock shrimp were great. The main courses of filet mignon and rigatoni bolognese were well prepared and delicious. We topped it off with a cheesecake pop tree with a cotton candy topper. Our waitress Amanda was very warm and friendly and was attentive but not overbearing. She also told us about the karaoke night and other activities. Very nice evening. We will be back.

   Excellent food and service. A hearty thank you to Eddie, our server. I greatly enjoyed the potato leek soup, the shrimp and scallop main course, and the to-die-for chocolate mousse cake.

   Another terrific night at The Goat!!! Very attentive service from John meant a meal that flowed at the perfect pace. Dinner was delicious, as always! The rigatoni special was a great blend of flavors, and the shrimp and scallops dish was excellent as well. So glad my favorite dessert of all time - the amazing sfogliatelle - is still on the menu. Can't wait to return!

    We went on a Thursday evening to celebrate a family birthday. The place was deserted: just a couple of other diners. We ordered an appetizer for the table. Two of us got the Burger Night special and the third ordered another a chicken entree. We were halfway through our salads when the burgers appeared. Very poor communication between front of house and the chefs. The waiter said the burgers had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while so wanted to get them out to us. (Which means they must have been fired the minute he carried the salads out). My medium rare burger was, by this time, medium (no pink inside). It was not at all juicy. Very disappointing. The chicken and gnocchi dish was reportedly delicious.
