We took our granddaughter for a meal after school as a treat. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and staff were pleasant, attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious and excellent value. We will definitely return and highly recommend a visit.

Hi we arrived for our booking on time , my phone was ringing whilst driving so thought no problem they will leave a message. We walked in to be told we were ringing you to inform you it’s cash only. Oh between us we had less then £30 . They advised where to draw cash out close by . Sainsburys would only give £30 cash back . The young gentleman Dominic who served us was very helpful and the young lady . As there were 3 of us and we had to look at the value menu which were 2 meals for £18 with limited funds , we had soft drinks and no afters. Very disappointed no free offer of anything for the inconvenience of not being informed earlier about cash only as they were new owners . Food was good but you cannot really go wrong with burger and chips !

Highly recommend for any occasion. I hope they maintain their food standards as they are amazing. Food always lean and good quality. Comes out piping hot and very quick. Wish all restaurants operated to this degree. Spent a fortune at some high end establishments and they forget the basics!

Food was beautifully cooked, well-presented and with good table service in traditional pub surroundings. We ordered the gammon, hunter’s chicken and shin beef dishes and would recommend all of these, along with the whole experience itself.
