   Family dinner, food was better than average and decor/ ambience really nice. Priced about as i’d expect for the type of place. The one down side was the service - slow, disorganised, forgetful - a starter never arrived despite multiple reminders, the wrong wine turned up after an age of waiting and was still on the bill at the end after it had been sent back. I’d say the place was about 3/4 full the whole time we were there and plenty of staff around. Would try again, as other ivy places have been much better, eg ivy Asia at St Paul’s.

   Lovely ambience with attentive but appropriate staff. Perfect setting for an early morning business meeting or evening meal.

   I called 22hs before my booking to cancel as I had an accident. The foreign lady manager was so I helpful and frankly quite condescending. I told her to informed me on the phone if I would be charged and her respond was ‘I don’t know you’ll find out after if you get charged or not’. It’s silly for a manager to work there, have no idea how to advise and then try be smart on the phone. The service at the restaurant was okay. Truffle chips came in a container with literally half oil drenched. Wouldn’t recommend not worth the price. Don’t bother calling either as manager is rude and incompetent - frankly she should be fired! Rude rude rude

   Busy Mothers day so drinksnoeder taken but they sat on the side for ages before being bright over to us. Food order taken, starters arrived and one of the starters was wrong. This was quickly corrected. Ordered some more drinks, main courses arrived, no cutlery for one of us, this took a few minutes to arrive. Had our mains which were nice although the Korean chicken just came with a mayonnaise and no rice, veg etc?? Not sure how you can deliver a main course and you have to order a side to go with it otherwise you just have a plate of chicken? Are our mains and still no drinks but saw them once again sat in the side. Finally they came after we had finished at which time I pointed this out to the staff member. He apologised and said we wouldnt be charged. Grateful for the gesture but not really the point? Overall a bit of a disappointing visit - food nice but overall vibe and service not what it should be . We still paid the service charge though!

   I have eaten there before that is why took visiting friends today for lunch. But unfortunately we hsd return two of the fish meals on the set menu plus mash potatoes and green beans as cold. They replaced them but also not hot enough. Very dissatisfied and unhappy as spoiled there lunch experience in a a beautiful restaurant. Nothing offered as apology. We actually sat outside under heated parasols as still a bit cold out of the sun. Even had fabulous live music by very talented duo.

   Really good food. The service was extremely slow. It was Mother’s Day weekend so I would expect it to be busy but you should have enough staff to be able to manage it.

   Don’t normally like leaving poor reviews but found the staff particularly rude and the service was ridiculously slow. Desserts came 15 mins apart with no real apology. Spoilt the experience eating like that. Very disappointed as usually rate Ivy Collection group restaurants.
