Wonderful experience, we arrived early and walked around to enjoy the architecture before our reservation. Our server, Hiwat, was lovely-the perfect mix of attentive and giving us room to enjoy our time. I had the gluten free tea service and the sandwiches in particular were delicious, a few of the dessert items were a tad too sweet for my taste but a great spread for GF. We will be encouraging our family and friends to go for a special occasion.

We celebrated 2 birthday's during our tea. The ambiance was impeccable, service was outstanding and we were given plenty of time to enjoy the occasion.

Requested a sofa/settee table for a special occasion - but was seated at a 4 top table along the wall at the entrance to the spa. Server bragged about working there more than 20 years but didn’t refill our champagne glasses ever. We ordered a bottle of Veuve and I had to refill everyone’s glasses myself repeatedly. Server never refilled my water and I had to wave down a manger for a refill. Bathroom was disgraceful. One of the stalls had a sink and mirror with two wall sconces but one was missing and only a hole in the wall remained. Horrible mold around the base of the toilet and the door was beat up and chipped along the bottom. Obvious a manager hasn’t walked through to inspect anything in awhile. Come on Marriott Bonvoy - you can and should do better. I can think of better ways to spend $550 than on an afternoon tea at The Brown Palace. Never again.

The food was terrible - came to the table still cold and stale from refrigeration (the mini sandwiches and macarons were crunchy). The seating area was open since it was the lobby/atrium and the acoustics were very noisy and loud. Would not go again. The value was not there for stale pastries and a loud environment.

The tea experience was phenomenal. Live piano music and a huge variety of teas to choose from were complimented by the finger sandwiches and sweets. We went to celebrate a birthday and will definitely return.

Scones and macaroons, where not really fresh. Overall nice ambience, but overpriced for the quality of the food.
