The Green Flash is an iconic waterfront dining establishment in Captiva, Florida. Come by boat or car, sit indoors or at one of our outdoor dockside tables for lunch or dinner service. The Green Flash serves traditional American fare with a distinct European influence. The kitchen uses only fresh ingredients, including market-fresh fish in all its from scratch dishes. The full bar provides plenty of drink options and the dining rooms and patios provide beautiful views of the water while you eat. Enjoy your meal as you watch the many pleasure and fishing boats depart and return from their excursions!

The Green Flash's menu begins with a range of starters like oysters on the half shell, smoked salmon, hot flash shrimp and mussels. A Captiva Island mainstay. Wide and varied menu, we loved the fresh seafood. Great drink menu. Nice views of the bay. We sat inside by the window on a cool night, but I could see patio seating would be very popular. Excellent service.

We had a great dinner at The Green Flash! It was my fiancée birthday. They comped a dessert when I told them. She had Veal Zurich and really enjoyed it. I had stuffed shrimp. Six shrimp with crab and breadcrumbs stuffing. If you’ve had this before you know it’s a small mound of stuffing on a butterflied shrimp, but very tasty! The dessert we chose was a chocolate mousse. Wonderful! Whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and mousse!

So thankful that Green Flash survived the storms this fall! We had a wonderful dinner for 9 last week. Food, drinks, service all exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to return our next trip to Captiva!

Our server , Olivia was was great…..attentive and knowledgeable. We had the lobster ravioli special, the bone in veal chop & the filet. All were outstanding. Our second dinner there in a week and both were superb.

Attended the Island Hopper Music Festival. Food was great. We had the fish of the day with rice and veggies. It was cooked perfectly. Our server, Debbie, was friendly and very attentive. Only improvement would have been to adjust the sound a little bit for the female singer. It was much too loud. We commented to the music technician, but he did not make any adjustments. Perhaps some people enjoy music that is ear piercing, we do not. Overall we had a great time.
