Amazing food (as everyone knows, the Duck Fat Fries are over the top!). Great service! We were a little disappointed in the ambiance. The guitarist was amazing, but didn't work in such a small room. Limited conversation and even explanations of the menu. Still, one of the best fine dining restaurants in Omaha!

Was not expecting fixed menu with highly limited choices. Did not like any of the very few choices. Very expensive for quality. Donut for desert. Really?

We have dined at The Grey Plume a number of times over the years and found it wonderful. However, the 2020 Valentine prix fixe dinner was disappointing. The courses were so rich that we were unable to enjoy all of the third or fourth courses. To have as dessert the Duck Fat Donut seemed particularly outrageously rich after the very rich second and third courses. Then, the bill. We have paid less at Michelin Star rated restaurants where every bite was an "Ahhh" moment. This was not. Even at a 20% discount from the last Michelin 3-Star at which we dined was not worth the expense. It just wasn't that good. Honestly, we are unsure of spending the 2 hours round trip to dine again.

Greg Plume is usually one of the best restaurants in Omaha; however, it was not on Valentines Day. My wife’s fish was over cooked, my steak tasteless, and the vegetables a mushy mess. My wife had the wine pairing but coordinating it with each serving proved problematic. One of the people next to us returned their entree as well (we didn’t go to the trouble). I think the restaurant had difficulty executing the set menu for this special occasion evening. With tip, just under $400 for a below average meal (for 2) doesn’t cut it! That said, we’ll be back to order off the normal menu. Hopefully, this was just a VERY off night.

Great place to either be adventurous or try Something you know you love. It is a wonderful restaurant with lots of options. Women don’t let them pick something for you. The charcuterie board is absolutely exquisite.

Overall, the experience bordered on terrible. Our primary server was great and attentive, but the rest of the service was terribly slow. We showed up 15 min early and we were greeted and invited to sit at the bar for a drink. After 10 min at the bar we finally received a drink menu, but then never had a chance to order. The bartender was terribly slow. I gave up on the bar and we were seated and ordered drinks which were received eventually during dinner. It took 2 and a half hours to eat 5 courses. It was a painful experience and made the food unenjoyable. The courses themselves were hit and miss along with wine pairings that didn't work for me, but having it take so long I felt nauseated and couldn't eat by the end of the meal. It was terrible and not worth the time and 20% automatically added gratuity.

The experience we had at the Grey Plume was excellent. We have been wanting to check it out for a month or so. The food was amazing and the portions were actually perfect. Our server was very attentive and knew the menu well. Very classy place that We look forward to dining at again. Thank you Grey Plume

A cooking class held at same time burned grease and made dining room and clothes wreak. Added 20 per cent tip automatically. Food was good but limited menu and not good value
