The food was very good. We had the anchovies to start which were very good! We then had the chicken and the pork for mains. Both were very well cooked and were very juicy. We also had the buttermilk dessert with rhubarb which was very nice. The staff could have been a bit more helpful in explaining the menu as some of the things on their were not clear as to what they were. Overall it was a bit pricey for 2 people it came to £100 with only 1 beer and a homemade ginger beer (which was more expensive than the beer!) But if you are looking for a cosy dinner with an open fire and good food then it is a really nice spot

I had heard about the Greyhound and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a lovely cosy character field pub with a great ambiance. Start with a well made cocktail and settle into some delicious food which is well worth the money compared to what you get in most pubs for your money these days. Highly recommend

The food is good, but not consistent and not at a level that commands these prices. The service and atmosphere are good (love the playlist). But…..the prices are too high. I was infuriated by the very scraggy piece of turbot I got — about a fish finger's worth of proper fish meat  — for £28, served with some greens and three Jersey Royals.  It's a bit of a culinary desert out here, but if more competition comes along, The Greyhound might need to watch out. 3rd or 4th time. Not sure i'm coming back at this price.

A rustic Inn providing good ale and comfort with reaally very, very good fayre. We rarely go out to eat because we don't do 'Pub Grub'. This however, is far from that and such a welcome change. Excellent thank you Chef.

Excellently prepared food with really good menu choices for everyone. Interesting wine list and good choices by the glass Seems very seasonal with even some new wild garlic thrown in. Nice atmosphere in a very old pub. Good, well timed service

We absolutely loved the Greyhound, and can’t wait to come back. The pub itself is beautiful and considered and just as it should be. The service faultless, attentive, warm and friendly, not at all fussy. And then the food. Well, it was all sublime. We adored all of the ‘snacks’ such a good touch, if you’re of the greedy persuasion- guilty. Don’t miss the gougeres or the lardo anchovy soldiers, Suffolk coppa also very yummy! The Raedwald tart starter was dreamy and the mains, wonderful. Honestly it was all utterly delicious and such a treat! Thank you, thank you!
