Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards.
The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace.
The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available.
The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

    Excellent food; inventive and varied menu. Comprehensive, if expensive, wine list. Wonderfully cheerful and friendly service from a team under pressure as the restaurant was extremely busy. Great choice for a special occasion

    It's not our first visit. Very friendly good service. Delicious food , a bit different. Nice presentation. cosy restaurant. Nice to get also amuse bouche, pre desert & chocolate to finish. Would recommend

    This restaurant thinks of everything. This was our 4th time at the restaurant and it just keeps getting better. The service is second to none, the food is stunning, both in looks and flavour. Value for money is excellent. This visit just confirmed that this firmly my favourite restaurant.
