The Grill at Hacienda del Sol is one of Arizona's top restaurants located in a beautiful setting at the base of the Catalina Foothills. Breathtaking mountain and city views are captured from The Grill dining room where you will be treated to Spirited Southwestern Hospitality and a remarkable menu featuring local ingredients from the resort's own organic gardens, local purveyors, and growers.

The Grill wine list, with over 800 selections, was twice bestowed The Award of Ultimate Distinction by Wine Enthusiast Magazine and has been awarded the Best Of Award of Excellence; from Wine Spectator for 24 consecutive years.

                                                      Bravo! We were returning to Tucson ,two years after having an outstanding dinner at Hacienda, this time to celebrate my son’s birthday. The meal was even more impressive this time ,- charred octopus, halibut steak both cooked to perfection with a perfect accompaniment of vegetables. The Baked Arizona was a big hit. Your dining room is always impressive and the waitstaff most knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you.

                                                      The service was very slow due to a wedding and a very large party. Waiter apologized throughout the evening, but timing never improved until entrees arrived. It took an hour and fifteen minutes to just get the appetizer. The shrimp appetizer was the star of the show. The seafood risotto was too cheesy and the fish entree was overcooked. Staff was polite and friendly, but didn’t offset the significant timing issues.

                                                      This is no longer the special restaurant that it once was. Twenty years ago it could hold its own against some of the really good restaurants in big cities. Ten years ago it was still a good place to take out of town guests. Now it has become an over priced restaurant with some nice views. It is, sad, not somewhere I plan to visit again.

                                                      Very inconsistent on service. Stellar one minute, but neglected the next. Wrong drink presented (twice), incorrect billing. No one came to the table for extended time (not while eating), although dinner came expediently, as did the check. Asked about our bread/butter a several times, etc. Wine glass refilled...but only for one at our table while others' glasses were at same low level. Disappointing.
